MISSION STATEMENT

The Fulbright Information Center is a US State Department affiliated advising center that strives to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on education in the United States. We do not endorse or rank any college or university, nor do we endorse or assume responsibility for the quality of the services provided by any company, organization or individual in the areas of test preparation, admissions, placement, or language training.

2004 EXCELLENCE AWARD

The Fulbright Information Center is the proud recipient of the 2004 Excellence Award for Overseas Educational Advising Centers, awarded by NAFSA: Association of International Educators, with the support of Educational Testing Services (ETS). The purpose of this award is to recognize and reward the outstanding and innovative initiatives of overseas educational advising centers, and the important role that they play in the field of international educational exchange.

This prize rewards the Fulbright Information Center’s effort to reorganize its advising services with the purpose of strengthening the efficiency and visibility of the center. This was possible through the establishment of an agreement with the University of Lisbon to move the Center to its new location at the university’s main building. Thus, once again, we wish to express our gratitude to the University of Lisbon for the cooperation and support provided.
